I couldn’t open the book. I have a MAC OS X and it couldn’t code the document. Is it a Word doc? The words on the page spoke to me, fear about writing one’s book.

Is there a way of protecting your work and idea when working with another author or ghostwriter? For example, signing an agreement of non-disclosure and non-usage of ideas discussed and written.
Marcy, I always provide and sign a non-disclosure agreement right at the start of any discussion with a ghostwriting client. http://www.aboutfreelancewriting.com/2009/02/non-disclosure-agreement-ask-anne-the-prowriter/ is a copy of what I generally use. I’m the only one who has to sign it, and it protects the client/author. You could copy that and insist that any ghostwriter you work with sign it. Does that help?
